Mapping the Mythopoetic through Storytelling

  • Visual Arts Center 1812 West Main Street Richmond, VA, 23220 United States (map)

This workshop explores the intersection of poetry, mythology, and personal narrative as a portal to our inner world. Rituals of spoken word and storytelling will guide participants into emergent landscapes where the “old stories” live; extending an invitation for individuals to consider the specificity and universality of their lives as a bridge connecting the deep past, the present, and the distant future.

This workshop is offered in partnership with the Richmond Poetry Festival. Registration is required although there is no fee to attend.
